A short introduction
Orlando Moreira (b. 1975, Porto) is a computer architect specializing in artificial intelligence chips. He holds a PhD in Electrical Engineering from the Eindhoven University of Technology on model-based temporal analysis of computer systems. His philosophical engagements include Marcus Aurelius, Camus, Becker, Schopenhauer, and a particular affinity with Fernando Pessoa's exploration of identity and perception. This informs his interest in reality's fabric and shared human experience. Beyond technology, Dr. Moreira has published a Portuguese verse adaptation of the Finnish epic 'Kalevala' (2007) and regularly organizes role-playing games. His other pursuits include cosmic horror fiction and heated debates with people he doesn’t know on social networks.Publications:
